Seed potatoes now in stock
January can be an optimistic time of year if you are planning which vegetables to plant in your garden - packets of seeds in all their varieties can be very exciting!
New in to the shop are this years seed potaotes - over 30 varieties available including these popular ones:
First earlies : arran pilot , duke of York , epicure , foremost , home guard , lady christie , pentland , javelin , rocket , sharpes express, swift , ulster prince , winston

Gardening Tips for January
- If the ground is not frozen it is an ideal time to plant shrubs
- Cut back remaining perennials and clear away the debris
- Prune the dormant roses
- Deadhead winter pansies for a second flush of flowers in the spring
-Cut off last years old hellebore leaves so you can see the flowers better
- Put a bucket over rhubarb crowns to force them on
-Plan the year ahead!
