Gardening Tips for January
- If the ground is not frozen it is an ideal time to plant shrubs
- Cut back remaining perennials and clear away the debris
- Prune the dormant roses
- Deadhead winter pansies for a second flush of flowers in the spring
-Cut off last years old hellebore leaves so you can see the flowers better
- Put a bucket over rhubarb crowns to force them on
-Plan the year ahead!
