Tips on choosing the right bed for your dog
1.The bed should be big enough for them to lie in all natural positions
2.Round or oval beds are good for when your dog wants to curl up
3.Mattress beds can be good for lying flat
4.Box beds or others with a side allow your dog to really cosy down and can keep them warm and protected from draughts – other styles of bed can be better for summer
5.Ideally the material of the bed should be comfortable , durable and washable
6.Older dogs may benefit from a memory foam bed if they have aching joints
7.Its best if you have more than one dog to make sure each one has its own bed

Gardening tips – Planting and looking after hellebores
-Helebores are a perennial that bloom with lovely white flowers in winter and spring when there is little else to show in the garden
-It is best to plant hellebores  straight from the pot from autumn through to late spring – if planting in summer be careful to water if it is hot weather
-Ideally plant them in an area with dappled shade and some sun during the day and in conditions that are neither very dry or waterlogged
- It is good to enrich the soil they are planted in with organic matter by digging in plenty of garden compost to the planting area
- Position the plants at the same level they were growing in their original container – do not plant too deep
-Space the plants 45cm apart and lay a mulch of organic matter around then to prevent them drying out
-Water regularly from spring to summer especially in hot dry spells
